An expression of beautiful, smart design and understated elegance Dita’s distinguish themselves with quality, look and fit. All frames are hand made in Japan and use only the highest quality materials: titanium, 18k gold, white gold and the finest Japanese zyl acetates. Solely for those who seek the highest quality and dare to wear them, Dita will always remain a brand that is highly sought after.
Dita was established in 1995 by lifelong friends John Juniper and Jeff Solorio. Their combined interest in photography and filmmaking eventually introduced them to the importance of this most critical of fashion elements. They now produce new styles of Dita glasses every year, using a unique manufacturing process that other brands can’t match.
Each pair of Dita glasses frames is made over a months-long period that involves gentle tumbling with natural, sustainable bamboo chips. This process gently polishes each component of the acetate frames, giving them a smooth finish and a completely individualized look. The company employs master craftsmen, some of whom have been employed in the trade for more than 50 years. The result? A beautiful pair of frames that can be fitted with traditional or sunglass lenses for a perfect look.
